Sydney vs Hawthorn Preview
Last time they met: Sydney defeated Hawthorn 69-55, Round 9 2016.
The Swans stunned the Cats in the first quarter last week and never looked back. This week they take on the Hawks at home in a top of the table clash. In the last three games against the Hawks, Dan Hannebery has collected 32+ disposals.
The Hawks are back on the top of the ladder after an away win over the Power. Hawthorns last game at the SCG was Round 22, 2012 when the Hawks came back from 26-1 in the first quarter to win by 10 points.
Prediction: In the game of the round, Sydney with home advantage.
Best Bet: Sydney 1-39 ($2.15)
Fremantle vs Geelong Preview
Venue: Domain Stadium
Last time they met: Fremantle defeated Geelong 104-60, Round 2 2015.
The Dockers have a good record against the Cats as they have 3 out of the last 4 games, including the last 2 at Simonds Stadium.
The Cats have fallen quickly from the top of the ladder with a couple of bad losses. Geelong also hasn’t beaten Fremantle at Domain Stadium since 2011.
Prediction: The Cats to get back on track this week with an away win.

Richmond vs Essendon Preview
Last time they met: Richmond defeated Essendon 105-67, Round 10 2016.
The Tigers went close to an upset over the Bulldogs last week. Last game against the Bombers, Dustin Martin had 38 disposals, 10 marks and 6 inside 50s.
Essendon almost got their 2nd win last week against the Saints but fell just short. The Bombers haven’t beaten the Tigers in their last 4 clashes. Brendon Goddard had 34 disposals and 5 tackles in Round 10 against the Saints.
Prediction: Tigers by around 4 goals.

North Melbourne vs Port Adelaide Preview
Venue: Etihad Stadium
Last time they met: Port Adelaide defeated North Melbourne 113-105, Round 3 2015.
North Melbourne ($1.40)
Five rounds ago the Kangaroos were on the top of the ladder, now they sit 8th after four losses in a row. North Melbourne have a good record against the Power with a 5-2 record in the last 7 games. Todd Goldstein averages 40 hitouts a game and should have a day out against the Power.
Port Adelaide ($3.00)
With a victory this week the Power can get within 2 wins of eighth spot and overtake their opponent the Kangaroos. Jasper Pittard is having a fine season as he averages 23 disposals and 16 kicks per game.
Prediction: North in a close contest.

Western Bulldogs vs Gold Coast Preview
Venue: Cazaly’s Stadium
Last time they met: Bulldogs defeated Gold Coast 95-73, Round 15 2015
Western Bulldogs ($1.18)
The Bulldogs survived a scare against Richmond last week as they earned a crucial victory for their top four hopes. In their last 2 games at Cazaly, the Bulldogs have won both contests by 3+ goals. Jackson Macrae had the best game of his career last match against the Suns with 33 disposals, 10 marks and 4 tackles.
Gold Coast ($5.10)
With Gary Ablett and Michael Rischitelli now out for the season the Suns are facing a challenging end to the season. Tom Lynch is currently 3rd for the Coleman Medal with 48 goals.
Prediction: The Bulldogs are too good at the moment for the Suns.
Best Bet: Bulldogs -20.5 ($1.48)
Adelaide vs Collingwood Preview
Venue: Adelaide Oval
Last time they met: Adelaide defeated Collingwood 90-63, Round 2 2015
The winning way continues for the Crows as they sit third on the ladder. The Crows are currently ranked 1st in points per game and kicks per game. Rory Laird’s return from injury has strengthened the Crows backline run.
Collingwood produced one of the upsets of the season as they travelled to Western Sydney and smashed the Giants last week. This week the Magpies must focus on defensive pressure with tackling and winning contested possessions to quell the Crows forward line.
Prediction: Are Adelaide due for a loss? The Pies are playing well enough to win this one.
Best Bet: Collingwood +30.5 ($1.95)
Carlton vs West Coast Preview
Last time they met: West Coast defeated Carlton 131-62, Round 2 2015.
The Blues last game against the Eagles at the MCG was the 1999 semi final in which Carlton won by 54 points (lost the grand final to North). Sam Docherty is a smokey for the All Australian team as he is currently averaging 25 disposals and 7 marks per game.
West Coast ($1.18)
The Eagles travel to the MCG to take on the struggling Blues. In the last 2 games against the Blues, Matt Priddis has recorded 31+ disposals. Josh Kennedy booted 10 goals last game against the Blues.
Prediction: The Eagles should win this comfortably.
Best Bet: West Coast 40+ ($2.15)
St Kilda vs Melbourne Preview
Venue: Etihad Stadium
Last time they met: St Kilda defeated Melbourne 135-96, Round 6 2016.
St Kilda ($2.05)
The Saints have won the last 2 against the Demons at Etihad. Tim Membrey kicked 5 goals last match against the Demons and has 28 goals for the season.
The Demons kept their faint final hopes alive with a solid win over the Dockers. Melbourne need to overcome the Saints who belted them in Round 6 this year. Also in Round 6 against St Kilda, Jesse Hogan kicked 7 goals and took 8 marks in a losing side.
Prediction: This game should be close but Melbourne have better form.
Best Bet: St Kilda +13.5 ($1.55)
Brisbane vs GWS Giants Preview
Last time they met: GWS defeated Brisbane 97-67, Round 10 2015.
There isn’t many positives when talking about the Lions in 2016. They are ranked in the bottom half for every important team stat. The Lions need to focus on making the road trip to the Gabba a tough one for every opposition.
GWS Giants ($1.04)
GWS are back to 7th on the ladder after a bad loss at home last week to the Magpies. The Giants have a 2-2 record against the Lions. They also won the last matchup with the Lions at the Gabba in 2014.
Prediction: Giants need to win this for their top four hopes.
