Outright Winner Betting
At $1.23 Patrick Dangerfield is the hot favourite to win his first Brownlow Medal. After his offseason move to the Cats, Dangerfield was outstanding throughout 2016. He finished 2nd in disposals (723) and kicked 23 goals.
Next favourite at $7.00 is Dustin Martin from Richmond. Martin had his best season for the disappointing Tigers in 2016. He finished fifth in the AFL for total disposals.
Luke Parker is third best bet value at $15.00, however he will lose votes to Hannebery ($21.00) and Josh Kennedy ($34.00).
Marcus Bontempelli ($17.00) from the Bulldogs should poll well to end the season and should finish top 5.
Joel Selwood ($21.00), Sam Mitchell ($23.00) and Matt Priddis ($51.00) always poll well at the Brownlow and should finish in the top 10.
It really is Dangerfield’s medal to lose.

Rory Sloane 1.01 (Ineligible for Brownlow medal)

Carlton provides value as Kade Simpson at $15.00 could be a smokey for the Blues as he averaged 27.1 disposals per game. Gibbs kicked 18 goals and collected 26.9 disposals per game. Cribbs was the Blues best player at the end of the season and could sneak home in the votes.
After joining the Giants in 2016, Treloar was one of the Pies best players with 30.6 disposals per game and 139 tackles.
T. Lynch 1.45
G. Ablett 3.50
