Sacred Elixir ($3.00) is the favourite for the Victorian Derby after winning the Super Vase Stakes last week. He defeated So Si Bon and has won three of its last four races.
So Si Bon is the next best bet at $7.50 and came third in the Super Vase Stakes at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
Good Standing ($8.00) returned to form with a victory in the Ladbrokes Classic on the 15th October, 2016. It broke a seven race losing streak.
Inference ($9.00) has three wins from six career starts.
Rocketeer ($11.00) has placed second in the last four races and defeated Inference last race.
Prized Icon at $11.00 is next in the betting and came fifth in the Super Vase Stakes.
Sacred Elixir is hard to go past. Rocketeer provides a value bet at $11.00 for an each way bet.
Palentino at $6.00 is the current favourite in an open field. He finished last in the Epsom, a race won by Hauraki. Before the Epsom, Palentino defeated Black Heart Bart at the Makybe Diva in Flemington.
Hes Our Rokkii ($7.50) is a huge chance for the Longines Mile after winning his last five races. His latest win was the Toorak Handicap at Caulfield two weeks ago. He’s career win rate is 53% and 69% to place.
Next in the betting is Seaburge at $7.50, he finished second to Divine Prophet in the Caulfield Guineas. His last win was back in March at Flemington (1400m) in a Group 2 race.
Voodoo Lad ($8.00) won the Moonga Stakes two weeks ago and has now won three of its last four races. The runner has a 100% place career record having never finished outside the top 3.
Mackintosh ($8.00) finished third in the Epsom Handicap and won the Marks Stakes before the Epsom. His last Group 1 race was a disappointing last place at the Queensland Derby.
The United States ($9.00) raced in the Melbourne Cup last year (14th) and won its last race in the Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley.
Hes Our Rokkii has the best form of the field and should be hard to beat.
