Crown Oaks Preview
In the last two years, the favourite has been defeated in the Crown Oaks and Yankee Rose will start as favourite in 2016.
Yankee Rose is the hot favourite to win the Crown Oaks at the odds of $1.65 with Luxbet. She finished third in the 2016 Cox Plate, a race dominated by Winx. Before the Cox Plate, Yankee Rose stormed home to defeat Swear and Prized Icon (Victoria Derby winner) at Randwick over 2000m. With a 50% winning career record, she is a quality horse and will be hard to beat in the Oaks.
Harlow Gold at $8.50 is next in the betting to defeat Yankee Rose. Although She hasn’t won in their last two races, Harlow Gold has finished strong. She finished fifth in the Caulfield Guineas and beat Rocketeer at Caulfield . Harlow Gold is a good finisher in her career and has a 50% place career record.
Rounding out the top three is Eleonora at $9.50 with Damien Oliver on board. She has good recent form with two wins from her last two races, both with Oliver as jockey. Oliver rode Jameka to victory in the Oaks last year.
Sebring Dream ($11.00) placed in her last race and defeated Missrock, hence the better price.
Missrock ($13.00) finished in the Wakeful on the 29th of October, 2016.
It’s hard to bet against Yankee Rose in the Oaks.
Emirates Stakes Preview
The 2016 Emirates Stakes looks to be an open field with Scottish starting as the favourite with Luxbet.
Scottish at $4.40 is the current favourite for the Emirates Stakes after finishing second in the Caulfield Cup to Jameka.
Vadamos ($4.80) came fourth in the Cox Plate and is the second favourite in the betting.
The United States ($5.50) is coming off a fourth finish in the Cantala Stakes and won the Crystal Mile by a length.
Endless Drama ($11.00) has a 66% place career record in Group 1 races.
Good Standing ($11.00) is a last start winner after holding off Rocketeer in the Ladbrokes Classic at Caulfield.
Hauraki at $13.00 could be a good value bet, he finished eighth in the Cox Plate but his form before that race was excellent. He finished in the top two in his last five races.
Tom Melbourne at $17.00 looks to be a value place bet option after finishing a close second in his last two races.
Rising Romance with the odds of $51.00 came second in the same race last year.
Scottish is our tip for the Emirates Stakes.
Darley Classic – Preview
Fell Swoop ($4.50) finished second in the Manikato Stakes and earns favouritism for the Darley Classic.
Our Boy Malachi is the second favourite at $5.50 and has shown recent form. He finished first in the Caulfield Sprint and came second by 0.1 lengths in the Premiere Stakes at Randwick.
The Quarterback ($5.50) came from last in the Manikato and did well to finish fourth by a short margin. He won the Gilgai Stakes before that race and will start as the third favourite in the Darley Classic.
Lankan Rupee ($6.00) has finished third in his last two races and has 5 wins from 10 starts in Group 1 racing.
English ($9.00) came seventh in the Manikato and will be hoping for a better run this week.
Spieth ($8.50) offers a value bet for punters after winning his last four races.

Japonisme ($13.00) stayed with the field in the Manikato and held on for third place.

We’re backing The Quarterback to win the Darley Classic.
